    How long does it take her to make one bag?

    Every Heritage Stitch bag is handcrafted by Amara from start to finish. Each one takes 5 to 9 days because every quilted panel is pieced and stitched by hand. No machines. No shortcuts.

    Who is jayda?

    Is a young self-taught artisan who learned quilting from the women in her family. She designs and stitches every single bag herself, turning African-inspired art into pieces you can carry with you daily.

    Are the designs on the bags printed or stitched?

    Every design is quilted and stitched into the fabric by hand. These are not printed graphics. That's why no two bags are exactly the same.

    Can I request a custom design?

    Not at this time. Jayda currently offers three signature designs: Garden Floral, Silhouette Bouquet, and Fruit Basket Women. New designs drop throughout the year.
